EXERCISE SCIENCE
My studies covered units including exercise physiology, anatomy, sports psychology, biomechanics and skill acquisition. I have coached broadly, from Olympic strength and conditioning sessions to huge group fitness classes of 1000 people at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, but mostly I have spent my time working with typical day-to-day people who want to be fitter, leaner, healthier and look better.
What does all that mean for your program and training? Three VERY important things that I strive for with each client:
[1] SAFE programs and movement, minimising unnecessary risk.
[2] EFFECTIVE training principles, maximising progress.
[3] ENJOYABLE sessions, minimising boredom and maximising individual preferences.
Enjoyable is not always about ‘fun’, but think more about the intrinsic satisfaction of completing something challenging, making meaningful progress to your goals.
PERSONAL TRAINING
Need someone there with you? The world’s best athletes have coaches with them constantly, so why would you think you don’t need that or deserve that? This is especially useful for those new or returning to exercise, for those learning new techniques and movements or for those who really want to drive themselves hard in a session. You can even train with a friend... I have some GREAT packages available for committed clients
